It took a while since I started this series. I did watch the first episode when it was aired, but then forgot to continue it until this week. And I realize, I should've work on this earlier. The series is full of daily office complexes which can happen anywhere. Some happen in my office. Since it feels so close to my reality, I feel this so special.
My favorite episode is the third one, "Having a heart! I will Cure Your Worries" which talks about workforce mental health care. In this episode Hoshino and Shimochiai (HR managers) come up with idea that this office needs mental health examination. Due to excessive number of leave applications, they figure out that employees are engaged in some kinds of mental health problems.

People are not so happy with their jobs. They fake their requests for vacation as sickness leave. HR assigns Shomuni to hold the examination. And from that event, they find that:
OTHER'S PROBLEM IS USUALLY SMALL AND TRIVIAL, BUT IT'S REALLY IMPORTANT FOR THEMPeople's worries could be just a small thing for you, but for them it might be super burden. Never underestimate someone's problem. It'll only make them feel valueless.

SOME PEOPLE KEEP PROBLEMS FOR THEMSELVES AND THEY'RE AFRAID TO BE SEEN OF HAVING SUCH SITUATIONS
Who won't like to be known for perfect life when everyone look at you with jealousy? You'll feel invisible for being tough or having glamorous appearance.

However, even machine can break down if it's overused. Human's heart (or brain) have limit. Even strong people need to unload their burden.
MOST PEOPLE IS HARSH TO YOU BECAUSE THEY HAVE THEIR OWN PROBLEM

INDECISIVE SUPERIOR CONTRIBUTES TO EMPLOYEE'S STRESS
We want someone whom we can rely on, who's able to give direction.
We need someone we can respect. But, in reality, there are superiors who push the blame to their subordinates. There are those who change mind easily. There are ones who talk nice to you, then bad mouthing you to his/her superior.
Hey, I know this kind of manager. They think you're not doing as much as they were. Seriously, no matter how long you stay in company, it doesn't make you the best person. Each employee, young and old, needs to learn to adapt to world's development. Our physical environment changes, as much as our technology, which lead us to new norm, new way of interaction.
I really recommend this episode (or if you have time towatch the whole series) for any HR managers, as well as employees who think they're not well valued. Complaining is your right, but you have to do it to the right person. Sharing your complaints to other employees will only lead to gossiping. If you think you have problems at work, see psychologist. Or best friend who won't just say "yes" to your every babbling. Seek someone who can bring new horizon and new point of view.

It's not that tough people don't have problems. They just don't share. Probably because they want to keep their coolness, or they just don't want to bother others. Tough people, no matter how you hate them, are inspirations for those without backbones. When you see someone so strong, won't you ask yourself, "Why can't I BE like her/him?"

MOST PEOPLE IS HARSH TO YOU BECAUSE THEY HAVE THEIR OWN PROBLEM

Sometimes it's not just because of your mistake, sometimes they are just angry to themselves. But, they have no idea how to solve their own problems, so with that unsolved problems they lose ability to deal with you effectively.
When you decide that someone is making your day bad, I think you have a problem. There are approximately 7 billion people in the world, you shouldn't let one person ruin your day, right?

Aaah, in the end, I think it's good to have psychologist in every company. My office only has psychiatrist, though. And as you can see from this episode, doctor is not so reliable for interpersonal problems.
As bonus, we get Gekidan Exile's Akiyama Shintaro *Damn, I really love his name*
